HD1500-7

A high-performance Komatsu SDA12V160 engine powers the HD1500-8 dump truck from Komatsu. It has a net horsepower of 1,048 kW, equivalent to 1,406 HP. This dump truck features a Komatsu 7-speed, electronically controlled automatic powershift transmission. It features a 4-wheel oil-cooled design, a multiple-disc retarder, and an automatic Retard Speed Control (ARSC) as standard.

The dump truck has an easy-to-see instrument panel, supplementary steering, and a push-button operated secondary brake. Lastly, it features a vehicle health monitoring system, along with oil-cooled multiple-disc brakes and a fully hydraulic-controlled braking system.
