Mahabalipuram, 20th December 2025: Komatsu India Private Limited (KIPL) celebrated its 14th Annual Family Day on December 20, 2025, at the Four Confluence Resort, Mahabalipuram, bringing together employees and their family members for a memorable day of togetherness, joy and shared pride.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the extended Komatsu India Private Limited family and served as a powerful reflection of the strong bond between both the organisation and its people. Over 3,300 members, including employees and their families, participated in the event, making it one of the largest family day celebrations the organisation has hosted to date. A key highlight of the day was the impressive live demonstration of Komatsu's newly introduced Smart Construction Technologies, including the Teleoperation Cockpit and Humanoid Robot.
In a remarkable display of technological advancement, a Komatsu machine in Japan, more than 6700 kilometres away, was successfully operated live from the Komatsu Oragadam facility. While the seamless remote operation captivated the audience and clearly showcased Komatsu's leadership in digital innovation, automation, and connected construction solutions.
It is the demonstration that left employees and their family members truly impressed, reinforcing Komatsu India's commitment to innovation, advanced technology, and a future-ready approach to the construction equipment industry.
