Komatsu India showcased Construction Equipment Simulator in TN Global Investor Meet 2024

Very beginning of this New Year 2024, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin organized and inaugurated a “Global Investor Meet”, held on 7th and 8th Jan, 2024 at Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam. Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal was a chief guest for TN GIM 2024, that caught India’s attention, received a remarkable influx of investments. 631 MoUs were signed during these two days event with an investment commitment of INR 6.64 Lakh Crore and expectations of 2.69mn job creations (which includes 1.55mn direct employment opportunities) in the region. This Global Investor meet was the 3rd time in the state and the previous two meetings happened in 2015 and in 2019. While the first edition attracted with INR 2.24 Lakh Crore worth of investment, and the second one managed to bring INR 3.00 Lakh crore worth of investment for Tamil Nadu state.

Day-1

It’s an excellent opportunity for Komatsu India, participated, displayed, and demonstrated the “Construction Equipment Simulator” a perfect tool for operator training that was imported from Komatsu Japan, in which, TN Chief Minister M.K.Stalin himself experienced the latest advanced technology during his visit to our OSAKA Plant in April 2023 and extended invitation to Komatsu representatives to display this simulator in TN GIM 2024, to introduce and create awareness on such new technologies in India. During this event, Industrial Minister T.R.B Raja visited all the exhibitor stalls including Japan Pavilion and impressed by himself to see our construction equipment simulator display. He himself tried operating our simulator and was happy experiencing the technology and appreciated Komatsu top officials for showcasing such a comfortable and ease of operational instrument in TN GIM 2024 and giving demonstration to all visitors of this event.

Day-2

2nd day of the event, the significant highlight was, our Managing Director, Yasunori Fujii and Plant Manager cum Director, Mr. Kazuyoshi Ura handed over the HB205-1 Hybrid model to ExNoRa International Foundation under CSR agenda through Mr. V. Meyyanathan , Minister to Government, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu. One of the commitments of Komatsu is to deliver sustainable solutions to the universe by creating a friendly aquatic eco-system for better tomorrow through our technological solutions.
